01Our story
Built on copper.
Paramount Electricals is run by Tariq Ahmad Nayak, from three outlets and our own factory. Because we build at our factory in Srinagar, we can make a transformer to the rating you actually need — and the same workshop that builds them repairs them.
Most of what comes through the door is not new. It is a motor that has stopped mid-season, a transformer that tripped in a storm, a winding that ran hot for one summer too many. Our work is to find out why, fix it properly, and tell you plainly what it will cost before we start.
The outlets in Srinagar, Jammu and Leh are there so nobody has to carry a burnt motor further than they must. Work handed in at any counter comes back to the factory, and goes home tested.

04The factory
Three ways we build.
Core assembly, winding and testing all happen at the factory. Anything outside the printed list, we quote to order.
Dry type
Air-cooled. For indoor work where oil is unwelcome.
Oil-cooled
Tank and cooling fins, for continuous load.
Toroidal
A single wound ring core, copper or aluminium.
